Refilling a Known Prescription Number
If you know
a prescription number that needs to be refilled, click Refill Known from the main menu. At the
dialog below enter the prescription number and click Continue.
If no refills remain you will get the dialog
above right.
If you try to click into the Refills
fields to change the number of refills you get the dialog below left. However, if Administrator can change the number of refills by clicking
on the arrow next to Refills.
Then, click OK at the dialog box below right, enter the Administrator’s password (next page) and change the number of refills
(also next page)!
If there are refilling remaining click the button and confirm your action at this dialog below left. Once the process is completed read and click the
right dialog!
Before a prescription is refilled the following
happens:
The software checks for available stock. If none is available you will get beeped and the
prescription NOT refilled.
If Refill
Expires is more than one year old you cannot refill the prescription!
When
a prescription is refilled the following happens:
The prescription Dispensing Date is changed to Today!
The new price, lot number and expiration date for the current in stock medication is used!
The number of remaining refills of the new
prescription is decreased by one and the previous prescription’s is changed
to zero. This prevents too many refills from
occurring!
When you are ready to dispense the
medication click the button!
